WMT #2: Honolua Bay













Here is world-famous Honolua Bay, where the snorkeling is terrific (or so they say) and the surfing is even better. See the little white tent on the rock in the back, near the mast of the boat on the left? There are about 250 people perched over there for a surfing competition. The surfers are on those breaking waves in the distance. It was interesting to watch--the surfers compete in groups of six, all vying for the best rides in a certain amount of time.
