Christmas Is a Bloomin'...














The pointsettias here are GORGEOUS and huge! This was taken at the lavendar farm in Kula("upcountry"). Love the proteas--you see them in bouquets everywhere here (even in the grocery store). Lovely!
I went on a tour of the lavendar farm with a group of ladies from our church today. The scents were amazing--many varieties of lavendar, as well as all kinds of other plants--some familiar, like camellias and hydrangeas. We made wreaths using all kinds of cuttings--I'm not even sure what's in mine, but boy, does it smell like Christmas (with a slight lavendar overtone)!
