Beach Buggy...

Now, there's a set of travelin' wheels. Allan and Joe hit the beach with Grandpa Dick and Grammie Beth, for four days of fun and sun at Seaside (thanks again, Dick and Beth!). Joe said the best thing about the day was the drive--playing with the controls in the back: they could turn on the seat massage, air conditioning and even the radio. Hoo-wee!

Sleepover!

Max and Joe rearranged the couch cushions for optimal sleeping positions. And they actually slept like that all night! Those wild and crazy kids...

Hollyhock Morning...

There's a lovely stand of hollyhocks (about 6 ft. high) on the opposite corner from the Graves' house. In the morning sun, they're as beautiful as a painting...

Chedda's Team...

Ace, Cameron, Curly and Chedda hoop it up...just another super fun day at Boys & Girls Club day camp. Woo-hoo!

Birthday Girls...

Nancy and best pal Donna Elder (the Graves' next door neighbor back in Eugene, where little Jeff would show up in his pjs for breakfast at his "other" house) celebrate their 29th birthdays together again this year. (See the beautiful flowers Brian gave his honey for her b-day! They're gorgeous!)

Saying Aloha...

Enjoyed a lovely patio dinner with our friends Rick and Laurie Shorett (a nice memory that we'll take with us to Maui). Saying goodbye makes it all hit home--we really are leaving in 53 days. Yikes!

Lake Wenatchee Sunset

Spent a terrific weekend camping with the Hayes and Murphys--it's getting to be an annual event (that we'll miss next year...). What a beautiful Northwest summer--I'm going to miss this place!
PS: Now that we have LESS THAN EIGHT WEEKS to go, I'll try harder to post every day as we count down our days in Bellevue (I'm counting on you-know-who-you-are to keep me honest)!

My dear pal, Mary (Joe's other mother) had the boys for the afternoon after their awesome first day at skateboard daycamp. Don't they all just look like angels?! (I think they are!)

The Gang's All Here

Crashed the party (and brought as many friends as we could) (thanks, mom and dad!) up at the Lake House. Lots of fun, sun and fireworks for Karen's birthday, er, I mean the fourth of July. Snap!

Cole Grows Up

We have a fabulously fun day at the water park celebrating Cole May's ninth birthday. Thanks, Cole (and thanks to Cole's dad, Paul, who "ordered" a couple of sunny days here in the Northwest. Nice!

Coaches Landon, Miriam and Lindsay made Skyhawks baseball camp fun! Allan and Joe wish it could last all summer (but they're off to skateboard camp next week)...
